My Tragic House care- Fiction

Once on Sunday, my parents had to go out to attend an important function- they left at 7 a.m. and were back at 8 p.m.. So, I was told by my parents that I had to take care of the house myself. I had to look after the household, cook lunch for me and my sister, feed the dog, water the plants, hang the clothes in balcony, buy items from grocery, put my sister to bed and later help her in her homework. Now, I’m going to explain you my 13 hours house care.

First of all, the maid didn’t show up, so I had to mop the floor. I accidentally had spilled the whole water on floor. And only my sister had to slip over it. This was the first part of my tragic tale.

After 1 hour of cleaning, I entered the kitchen. I knew nothing about cooking except preparing lemonade, bread-butter and sandwich. There were multitudinous items to prepare lunch but there was no lemon, to make lemonade, nor bread, to make bread-butter or sandwich. By using my witticism, I thought citric acid would work instead of lemon, so I added lots of citric acid, salt and so much sugar to tempt my 7-year-old sister. Instead of bread, I thought of mixing biscuits and chips and added ketchup. During lunch, my sister tasted the lemonade, she said she felt it bubbly in her mouth and the biscuit-chip crush was tasting like strawberry. Let me open up the suspense to you, I found out that that it wasn’t sugar instead it was soda, and it wasn’t the ketchup but it was rose flavor juice. I was so sorry for what I had done to lunch. My sister got severe stomach ache after the lunch so I made her sleep early. I forgot to tell you that I didn’t have lunch after my sister’s reaction.

Next work was to feed the dog. I was searching for dog biscuits but I found none. I later realized that I had added dog biscuits to lunch. I offered the dog the biscuit-chip crush and the dog ran away from the food item and got so scared of it. Don’t blame me that the dog got scared.

Watering the plants was the best part, everything went correct. Hanging the clothes was also of no problem, if the clothes-line had not fallen down and I didn’t know how to fix it back. I crossed out grocery because I knew something would go suspicious over there.

Then, the worst part was upcoming. I had to make my sister get back to normal. I had my head buried in my hands. I cared about nothing and I cried. I gave up finally. I was crying till 8 p.m. when my parents entered the house. They were asking why was I crying and my sister having severe stomach ache. I told them my most disastrous, tragic tale. They laughed at my tale. They were posing many funny comments. My parents brought pizza for me and my sister. When my sister saw the pizza, her stomach ache was gone. My mom told that that even she had been through all this many times.

Later I met their laughing eyes and understood that burdens may look heavy but they seem lighter when we are used to it. So, I would just like to conclude my most disastrous, funniest and tragic day by saying that NEVER GIVE UP !!

Rain

I am sure it is going to rain soon,

Waiting for it from noon.

Plants are dancing in the rain,

While people are collecting water for their gain.

The wind is singing softly,

While thunder is roaring harshly.

I love to wear my sweater,

Which makes me feel better.

I love to dance in rain,

Because it brings fresh thoughts to my brain.

I would just like to say rain brings joy,

And now it is time to enjoy.

Global Warming

What’s happening on the Earth? Global warming,
I still have a hope that it is a warning.
Water pollution and air pollution,
Might make us all die in asphyxiation.
Land pollution and noise pollution,
Littering and loud noise; we can’t live; we need evacuation.
Wonder what’s happening to the trees? Deforestation,
Humans, wake up! Sure you can save Earth with afforestation.
Natural disasters – earthquake and flood and volcanic eruption,
Wake up; start growing plants and start conservation.
I’ve narrated you everything what my mother Earth told me,
Now it’s your turn to save everything including the tree.
